Re: My premature death
I have been faced with two options regarding getting the radios returned . I have been informed, via a third party, that Karl believes he is owed money from the group from a number of years ago and that he is retaining the radios until he gets the money back . As Karl or any member of his group refuse...

Re: My premature death
He is right as well! The radios still belong to the Frontline Association ,Karl Beautyman had them in his possession when he left. Despite me attempting to get them back he has refused to return them . I still have the manuals in Russian and English for them . Guess he cant say he hasnt got them now...

Re: ok ..a brain picking question about blank ammo
If you are trying to use NATO 7.62 or necked down .3006 in a 7.92 Mauser you will need to sleeve the breech.its an interference fit and needs doing by a gunsmith or someone who knows what they are doing .
Best not to meddle with it- take it to a reputable gunsmith or Sec 5 dealer .

My premature death
I have been made aware of a German grave marker with my details on being used on a display by the Eagle 7 battle group who are part of Northern World War Two. I understand that it was on their display at Whittington Barracks earlier on this year and I understand that pictures of it are on a website ...

If I re-enact private WW2 battles done by people in the 1980s does that make me a historical reenactor?

Re: Allgemeine SS at war and peace
I think after the issues with wearing/not wearing the burka in Europe and govt officials have gone on record as saying " its not up to them to dictate what people can or cant wear on the streets in Britain" that its pretty much open house? I suspect it has a lot to do with context - wearin...

Re: Sanitising the Wartime Years?
speaking as an old fart who has been in this since the 1980s I can say that although we have had a huge expansion in the variety and number of events open to re-enactors there has definately been a restriction in exactly what and where German re-eanctors have been allowed to take part .(if that make...

Better late than never A huge thank you from the Fallschirm Transvestites of FJR9 and the DRK nurses . We thoroughly enjoyed setting up our dressing station and mending all those poor damaged troops and I echo Neil and PDs statements in that it was an absolute pleasure working with such excellant re...
