panzer piping
Sooooooo. ... Why can't anyone seem to be able to produce panzer boards in the correct shade of pink? Now don't get me wrong - I'm no stitch nazi but this is really grinding my gears. I've a few pairs - all wrong. Epic/militaria-net - too light almost baby pink. Sof - too purple. Panzer waffenfarbe ...

Re: OP:- WHITE WOLF PRIVATE BATTLE
Operation white wolf was an absolute binder. Well done to rudy for organising a great event and to everyone else involved. Many thanks for having the das reich boys along. As and when the next one is I'd recommend any other groups have a look at going. Lots of close in room to room fighting/window e...

Re: Anyone do buckle repairs?
It was an em/nco buckle. Happy to report after an hour or so of swearing and the proper application of tools, beer and brute force I have effected a repair and here's how I did it. First I decided to use the new shite one (courtesy of epic) as a donor for new prongs. I used a combo of a hammer and a...

Anyone do buckle repairs?
Evening gang.
The prongs on my belt buckle have snapped.
Now I'm sure many will think - buy a new one. Well, did that and the detailing is appaulling.
Being as my old one is very nicely detailed I'd like to repair it.
Anyone do or know anyone who could do a prong replacement?
Regards
Jim

Re: having issues finding a good crusher m37
Crusher by Michael Janke. Maybe two years old? No ageing per se, just shaped. All stuffing removed, plus i took out the front stiffening buckram and spring, the resewed the liner in place. After that followed many hot water moldings for the top. Unfortunately the band got wet so it lost nearly a cap...

Re: Choice SS tunics/sets
next up a quite hard to find set - an HBT SS Stug uniform. Perfect for summer gigs and getting rare to find decent suppliers stocking it - No hong kong harry set here. Bought then worn for only one show. Some dust stains to knees. Also spiked belt buckle bar has come off so new belt buckle or just t...

Re: Choice SS tunics/sets
Superb SS Totenkopf Aufsklarung SNCO M40 Tunic. No expense spared on the insignia - excellent pumpkin head collar tab - and closest to original cuff to be found. Even has number 3 branded shoulder buttons! All insignia professionally machined on. Size 42. This tunic is honestly one of the best TK on...

Re: Choice SS tunics/sets
Righ then - after re-sizing the site is telling me they're still too big despite the pc selling me differently. So, here are the items with flickr links to view... First up is an open neck M32 in field grey wool. From Antz/Perschen. Currently badged up as Reichsfuhrung SS NCO - the ss main leadershi...

Re: Choice SS tunics/sets
typically, the pics are too big for all the items. Will load the items for sale within the next couple of hours once i can get to a pc to resize them. To tempt you in the meantime - one m32 open necked rfss tunic - rarely seen in early period pattern, a truly stunning TK m40 and hard to find SS HBT ...

Three lots to load so bear with me. All items are quoted for UK postage only - these are bulky things and will cost a fair amount to post abroad. Paypal only please.

Re: are chinese companies any good?
Hit and miss. Mainly miss. There's no guarantee you'll get what'd in the pic, colours can be wrong etc. First rule of reenacting is buy once, buy right.
Save a bit more and get a decent one from a reputable company. I'd recommend a texled one from at the front.

Would that be any groups including Waffen-ss?
From what I've seen and heard we wouldn't be allowed to come and play and quite a few others would be excluded too

Re: Ww2 german coin cleaning
If they're zinc mate then there'll be nothing really left to polish up . Once the surface coating has gone it's gone. I'd just give them a gentle clean, make sure they're uber dry, then apply a really thin coat of vaseline to any points where white zinc pest was visible. This is what u do with zinc ...
