Re: Question on food container liner

Both ladels are missing. With some further information I received today. You can tell a wartime from post war containers by the ladel holders in the lid. War time was welded and and post war containers used rivets.

Question on food container liner

Greetings
I have a food container, it is not dated but is exactly the same as my 1942 dated example. The non dated model has a liner that is actually enameled. Would this be correct for war time carriers? Unfortunately the dated model did not have a liner to compare

Anyways, does anyone have an illustrated instruction of how these are attached to the binoculars. I have tried, but must be doing something wrong as the cover doesn't stay on the bin...

Re: Spearhead Parka and winter Trousers.

Anyone else know about that? I wish I could remember the tag on my sturm parka from Hessen and what it said. I would email spearhead directly but worried that they may just tell me what I want to hear.

Anyone else have one? and can say a little more about them?

Re: Gavinmilitaria, any good??

Limey its not a ton of unnessessary cash if you want to spend the few extra bucks, They will tailor make you a pair. I've had two uniforms made this way, for me it as an addition 8 dollars. Just a week or two more to wait. Both have arrived and fit as they should.
