Re: Cossacks anyone?

Good that a Kosak unit has a website, Stateside! My unit probably won't do a website, as we have enough friends doing the impression. Better a few friends, than an argumentative squad LOL>

Thank you! Yes, one of the reasons we do it is to represent the unrepresented part of that Eastern Front/Russian History.

Virginia Museum of Military Vehicles/ Nokesville, Virginia,

My unit, 2./Don-Kosaken Reiter Regiment 5, 1. Kosaken Division, had a good event at the VMMV, a.k.a. "Tank Farm", near Manassas, Virginia, this past August. Below are some pics of us at the event:

Re: Attached personel to the BFC?

This excellent documentary, and the book by Adrian Weale, covers pretty thoroughly the whole British Free Corps history (link is pt.1, obviously follow youtube links to view the whole show).

Youtube, of course, deleted the first clip. Here it is again, with panzer field repair shop, s-boote squadron, and falschirmjager training.

Re: Cossacks anyone?

Actually, you don't need a horse to reenact Cossack Plastun (foot reconnaissance, to yall).
Yep, Trident millitary has most of the goods, though they still haven't gotten in papakhas
(last I checked with them anyways).
