October could be a sweat you knackers off through the day and then tits off over night, which is why I opted for a smock, 2 piece for kipping in/ night time. I'd prefer a greatcoat, but don't have one in grey yet. VGD at the start would have been fairly well equipped I think and from not wholey new ...

Sal? Isn't it usually German Commander's job to write out a Warning Order with the permitted kitlist on it? Yeah I was just interested in seeing what look people were going to go for. Not a kit list or anything. Me personally I'm going to do VGD, Tan and water smock and a sort of late war generic i...

Bulge what to wear?

Nice and friendly like.

Good points: as above, but also the site was a beautiful location and I got to hear a cuckoo for the first time :D . Bad points: as stated by others lack of decent maps, lack of water, ...

Nitty gritty of it was that I had a minor disaster on the Friday when the car taking me fried its gearbox so we had to get a hire car, which made me late not arriving til early ...

Pete did it on his jack mostly and saved us from lost sites a few times. I think newbies are responsible for a bit - as they come knowing...
