i got a wartime Kahles from e bay without a mount for £70 it can be done £47.00 plus postage but it had no finish left on the metal worth a damn and didn't have the base to the mounts. Spent best part of a year looking on e-bay and then two turned up fom the same seller. A scruffy but servicable on...

Since I managed to kill this topic stone dead, it's only fair I have a go at redressing the balance.
