Re: Other outfits-impressions??
I had an M27 made to measure from union and the collar is a better fit. Also ordering a 38R instead of size medium ia better fit as well,as I found with the Imperial tunic I got from them,I'm now waiting for a Janke M1910 cap from James Brown of 'ExtraKlasse'.

Re: ss cuff titles
I cannot say I've seen this done, some one who was transferred from TK to LAH would be considered a 'step up' and I think wearing any other cuff title other than 'Adolf hitler' would not be allowed.I have trawled through my copy of Cloth insignia of the SS by J.angolia and not found any examples of s...

Re: ss cuff titles
The five button SS hbt tunic did not exist. When you say two cuff titles being worn at the same, what did you want to portray?,SS war reporters could wear their SS-kriegsberichter cuff titles with the divisional cuff title they were assigned to .Feldgendarmerie of the LAH could wear their FG cuff titl...

Re: M44 breast eagle
If the tunic was introduced sept;1944,then I would assume the insignia was introduced around the same time.I see now you want an eagle for an HBT tunic,on WAF I found HBT tunics with standard, late and printed eagles. This is a late war eagle found on HBT tunics(its also refered to as a 'shirt 'eagle)...

Re: M44 breast eagle
Going by German army uniforms and insignia by Brian L Davis, the M44 field blouse was introduced on the 25th September 1944.The triangular bevo eagle is refered to as an economy pattern.Standard pattern eagles were also worn on this tunic.John

Re: schirmmutz / crusher caps
The army M37 'old style'service cap was for officers,it was forbidden from April1 1942,the cap could no longer be worn unless the wearer had used it prior to that date. Some officers added cap cords to get around regulations. The Waffen SS had similar "crush caps" for nco's/officers,with clo...
