i do agree mate, however since jon is having to butcher his vehicles does it mean all the tanks in civi hands (MVT etc) will have to be done the same. Whatever happens it would appear that there should be no more blank firing armoured vehicles at shows now. or am i dreaming

not only that but be carefull about the deacts due to uncertainty about the new laws at the moment

Just heard about this saddened he was a great reenactor collector and all round gentleman

i will say this again and for the last time civil servants in this country only do what they are told by government and ministers if you believe otherwise then you are living in cloud cuckoo land. Of course civil servants in the EU may have more freedom and power i dont know

the home office civil service do not make the rules or law MINISTERS and government do civil servants just have to apply it

good point, it seems people with a collection of deacts hoping to sell them on for a retiement fund are stuffed because i cant see them being worth much now even if the section 5s are prepared to buy them which i doubt and registered deact dealers aint going to pay much in my view

a few more details about yourself would be usefull ie age also most groups are not all from one area most cover members from around the country, do you have transport since events are all over the place so transport is a must

quite correct if they are old spec deacts because of the new law both you and the buyers will be faceing gaol sorry but thats the way it is now, isuggest that you do not advertise non compliand weapons on here as we are undoubtably being watched by the powers that be
