our guys have the same criteria as Das Reich in that it requires a hospital visit to "earn" a wound badge, a few of us have got the odd broken tooth from combat but all you get from that is a funny smile...

wartime butter dishes are mostly either orange or black, but they were also made in red and a pale green ( but these are not common at all ) marble ones are postwar

I`ll save you a bit of time ...I actually found this after Id built the tent...and was searching for the types of tables used etc ... It gave me a nice warm glow knowing I could back up a theory. :wink:

Hi Nelz yes Ive seen the M1929 Telo Mimetico tents but those are easy as the square shape lends itself to be made into a box tent ( and more italian army than German army )...this is made from M31s (albeit my example is made from those crap chinese ones so its not as "tight" as it would lo...

Their barrels are fitted to the receiver and inside is a large high carbon steel block to prevent drilling ...they do have a sort of gas bypass system but Im not sure if this would cope with all the 22 force...plus you still have the issue that the bolts are brittle and the face of them is designed ...
