I'd like to do a similar thing with my 1154/55 set, but haven't found a way of using a radio for the receiver yet other than spending over £300 on getting someone to rewire it all and replace valves....

so if I owned a bren or a browning 1922 model, post 95 deact and kept it but didn't sell it I'd be ok unless I wanted to sell it in which case I'd have to get it 'even more' deactivated? Or does everyone that currently owns a deact have to get it even more deactivated? bit fubar allround init.....

anyone got a spare or one they no longer need/use? any year model aslong as it's not a frankenstein or in need of alot of TLC.
