Re: So...why is this forum dying on it's ass?

I don't mind answering questions that could be found on google, the exception lies with questions like "when did WWII end"? For those questions it would have been faster just to google it than start a new thread. Some forums though are full of a-holes though. For example on the Wehrmacht A...

Re: So...why is this forum dying on it's ass?

Re: best way to get new repro jackboots field ready

Haha...I say 4 years for a pair of 60 buck shoes are pretty good especially when I get at them...remember I didn't use them for just reenacting but pretty much every weekend in the fall and spring. Anyway, no use arguing over cheap boots....it ain't worth it ;)

Re: best way to get new repro jackboots field ready

Just to cause a pain in Halle's @ss, I have to disagree with one thing...everyone says the £60 pair of Sturm boots are crap but I've gone through only 2 pairs and they lasted each around 4 years and mostly I used them as outdoor work boots. If you replace the nails with steel ones and no great well....

Re: blank firing safety distance

At work we make targeting systems...the target knows if it's being shot at by sound, so we fire blanks to simulate a miss in the workshop. Our safety distance is 10m and no adaptor.
