Crazy Dutch Boys are working on a Photo-story like last year. Will probably surface tonight or tomorrow.

Re: hi friends, is this splinter zelt look good?

The Zeltbahn pictured has pretty damn close colours. Depends what Zelt you compare it with though. When you take a look at the latewar variant, with brown painted aluminum buttons ( presumably Italian ) it looks very good. The fabric, though is too thin, too closely woven with to fine threads. Thus ...

Re: G43 pouches - authentic or farb?

Best bet is natural leather, blackened leather or Presstoff. The Presstoff variant only began to show up at the ardennes offensive though. Those are the commonly found pouches. The other pouches mentioned at that site could be original, though you should try to get one of the ones mentioned above. D...

Re: Gas mask canister pale blue

KM canisters where hand painted, on the outside only, as per regulations. Though still 99% of them remain feldgrau.

Another one of these * note the marking on top *

Re: Gas mask canister pale blue

I've got mine from a family member together with his uniform. Straps aren't german as well. Know about 10 more of these exactly like this. Luftwaffe and Kriegsmarine carried feldgrau canisters.

Yeah and when you scrape some off you'll get yellow below. Lots of them show up in the Netherlands, I'm told for the postwar civil protection unit : BB.

Have seen them in Person. How much do they go for? Looks like a promising 2nd choice over Lederarsenal.

Re: Victory show 2012

http://img59.imageshack.us/img59/2063/img130oa.jpg Some photos from this weekends Victory show. All taken at the show then developed and printed at the show in the field, hence the need to clean the negatives and improve the cropping to lose the crown in some of the shots. Hopefully more to follow ...
