Re: JH Berger Boots
You can use KoChoLine on the soles. If you dont they may dry out amd crack. It is designed to replicate the natural oils/fats in hide, so will have ZERO adverse effects...unlike your experience with soles that become soft & spongy (due to the incorrect dressing destroying the cells) I store my b...

Re: JH Berger Boots
Hi Without getting too technical neatsfoot (the natural version) is too viscous/dense. The short term results are ok, I agree. The problem is longer term as it will degrade the cells in the leather if it continues to be used. I have had reenactor customers with similar pairs of very dry original boo...

WW1 Mauser G98 sling parts....plus G98 bayonet
I'm looking for the slider/buckle for a G98 sling...plus interested in any other G98 sling hardware. Also looking for an early G98 bayonet, to go with a 1915 dated G98. Prefer good condition, not battlefield relic , and ideally the butcher blade design (or pioneer version); with or without scabbard....

I picked up ONE decent book last month at the Tamarms show in Tampere, to get me started (Plus the girlfriend treated me to a nice SA marked 1917-dated German ammo pouch) The uniform book...
