I've seen pictures of the later war tunics and it looks like they have that chinese cheap silk linning in the them, is this true? Talking about the M43 tunic.

I have to agree with the glasses, you can buy a pair of Dienstbrille for €20 and have the lenses replaced. They are the correct glasses and easy to find.

As this is not an issued piece of equipment, I'm sure soldiers used them by all nations as you'd want to protect it during the battle.

On some DAK uniforms you see it, but mostly only for seniors who would maybe have the privilege of keeping their seasonal clothing, but even with the officers, you often see enlisted man's breast eagles with collar tabs and officers shoulder boards.
