Many thanks for the imput gents . Firstly , the MG53 Lafette was issued with a optic block holder but most of the ones on the open market today are missing theirs , why I have no idea . You can easily find a MG53 optic on ebay.de for as little as 35 euro . I want to give my one a WW2 appearance and ...

Hi Graham , yes I know old timer well and have done business with them . Sadly they do not have any original R12 sidecar frames for sale . So the search goes on !
