Here's mine M40. Size 64, original shell, I restored it my self. No primer or filler (putty) was used. I filled these small metal pits only with RAL 6006 paint. Hole on the top was welded. Several years have passed since the last recommendations. Which FJ helmets are the best now? As I read in the previous posts, some time ago the best choice was Indian helmet + spearhead liner.

Helmets from India are still available in ebay. But I couldn't found any liners produced by Spearhead.

IMHO reenactors.
