Dear all many thanks for the great time last weekend,
Feel I ought to post an intro before I get a stern telling off for not doing so before posting a write up on Churnet.
Welcome to a newly invented alter-ego of the re-enacting Staffie, I just hope you all don't mind me trying to put Flips views into words. (Yes, ok I loved Johnie Morris as a kid).
I'm Sian the other half of Kurt Hartman and the slightly soft, but always lovable Flip. I have been re-enacting for 2 years and I usually re-enact brit RAMC doc in BD's or civilian nurse in well starched ward dress. Although I've been thinking about helferin for 12 months and must really get it together this season.
I've met some of you in the dark corners of various fields at events and apologise now if I didn't recognise you (not as exciting as it sounds, but Em knows what I'm talking about) and must admit GD is one of the friendliest groups of re-enactors I've met.
And yes, I do usually take some home baking to most events.
I'm looking forward to seeing at all at other events.
