Hi, I've got one of those with most of the contents. It's the 'Sani' version of the DRK Helferin tasche, but much larger.Feldjager wrote:Ummm..., best I can do at the moment
Dimensions are about 225mm x 100mm x 260mm. Weight when full is about 3kgs.
Nope, thats a DRK nurses bag. I used to use one (still have it if your interested), but its abit of a fantasy item for a sanitäter to use (which is why I havent used it in a long time).352nd wrote:there's one on at the moment, it's item 6593727927. Is this the correct thing?
I bet! The ampules and tablets seem to be the hardest things to find...funny thing is, Ive got the civilian version of them with the contents still there. Cant seem to find the military ones Still, you will have a lovely medical collection without them let alone with.Schäfer wrote:As much as I'd like to accomodate you Tom, I'm afraid it cost me £150, and that was a snip!
I've been busy collecting the internal pouches and instruments that goes with it. It's like a Chinese puzzle inside.
OOO OOOO Dont forget to mention that the tent is an original GJ medical one, used post war by the girl scouts and has their names still visible on it! - An elephant never forgetsFeldjager wrote:If you look at this picture you can see the ampules in a card bix to the right of the measuring mug. The drugs are kept in small aluminium cylinders in a wooden box - this is at the rear to the right of the radio with the lid open. I'll see if I have any better quality pictures lurking about my hard drive!
The real question is, have we given you all the information you need?352nd wrote:yes that's an impressive display.
There was one on Ebay some days ago. Is this it?Feldjager wrote:SHOULDER BAG
The shoulder-bag (Krankenträgertasche zum Umhängen) is used by unmounted orderlies and replaced the normal belt bags from year 1942 on. The shoulder-bag is made of leather and is more practical when in use. The content ismore accessible than in the old belt-bags. The bag is carried by a shoulder-belt on the left shoulder and fastened to the belt. The shoulder-bag contains the same material as the belt-bags but more bandaging material.
