Private M42 tunic

Post by Heini »

Hi all,

does anyone have any pictures (photos of original stuff, or original photos) of modified M42 tunic - privately sewn? I´m looking especially for Feldwebel rank..

Thanks in advance for your help.

You mean like this one? They conclude it's a converted M41 in the end I think.

And a converted M43 -

I've seen a lot of tunics like these, in hand and on original photo's. My own tunic has the same thing, If you want to make it it's quite easy. The easiest way is to get the green wool, and stitch it OVER the current collar.

My own tunic:

Yes, but I might think It would add to the topic. Heini, if you need any detailed shots from the collar and the construction.

Kind Regards,

Erik

You can find them often with the dark collars.
