Uniforms are interesting - the file leader with the Saloranta is wearing a M/27 field cap and so is probably Civil Guard. I like the way no two jackets are the same colour too, and some of the backpacks look like they were brought from home. This army is in lots of respects a reenacters dream - lots of leeway for self-expression.

Sad Lapin sota/Lappland war, Fake/play war moved really fast to real things, soviet pressed goverment so hard that there was no choice, there was fear in the air soviets gonna occupied/invaded whole country. German soldiers ecxepted situation and like originally planned
they try to retreat in peace, both sides try to keep "placebo"war on,but politics takes the other way, and like allways, soldiers/civilians suffered. Allmost whole lappland was burned up.
My grandmothers youngest brother was last Finnish KIA in that play. Guy was youngest "class"
drafted, on that day suffered almost 40 degree fever, still ordered on skipatrol. Bad luck, touched wit enemy and bang.
Hope ya got som´thing out(trying to "sluibailla# out of me boss sight) if don´t delete it to helvete pleez

Franz will hopefully give a numbers and dates and stuff like that, much wiser than me but i don´t eat as much "makkaraa" as he will, finnish sausage will growe yer intelligency, you should try it.
