WW2 Weekend Training Event

This is an open event - all current members and persons interested in joining any Ontario WW2 Reenacting Unit.

All Training that occurs will be based on Period Appropriate National Tactics and Doctrine.
All FTX will have a specific training objective in mind. The expectations for both the Allied and Axis will be clearly defined and laid out.


When: 12JUL13 to 14JUL13
Time: 1700 12JUL13 to 1800 14JUL13
Where: Field in the Barrie Area
Field Location: 2258 Centre Line Road, Stayner, Ontario
The field entrance is at Latitude N44 21 min 56.5 sec and Longitude W 80 3min 11.4 sec.

Field Description: The field is 50 acres of hard wood bush with some pines and scrub brush mixed in. There is a road network from when it was selectively logged. There are a couple of small ponds on the property and a large beaver pond at the back end. The terrain is rolling hills with a small valley in the centre of the property. There are no structures, but there are are two 24 foot trailers and some lean toos. There is a 20 foot trench dug at the south end and it sits on a small knowl.


How much : 35.00 for the Weekend, Training and final Tactical event - The price is the price regardless of the lenght of stay.

Meals: Bring your own. Please prepare for 7 meals, snacks and water

BE advised the this is a CONTACT TACTICAL event airsoft guns will be in use Appropriate eye protection is required
