Thats not a Junker pin set up,it looks to me to be S&L (Steinhauer & Luck Ludenscheid) used on their 57 patt EK's and badges, this firm carried on making badges like Souval just post war before they were stopped, but I could be wrong, what do our other 'medal mongs' think.Join German combat awards forum (ordinary membership is free but you can upload photo's direct from your computer, unlike WAF where you have to be a association member to do this.)there is a complete section devoted to the 'Bandit Badge' going on I think over eight pages, information has changed in the last few years and this badge is one of the most faked ever.John

S&L had there own dies,it could be that the pin was replaced postwar. The 57 version made by this firm is very rough on the reverse,I went on GCA tonight and went through the five pages of the bandit badge,I would not want to authenticate one these buggers, there were some very convincing fakes. From what I read because these were made late war only in zinc and not buntmetal.

I pinched this pic of a 57 patt EKI S&L pin setup which I have cropped to show the similarity to the pin setup on your badge. The original broad pins have a 'feminine curve' to them(so have some of the fakes). As I said if you posted on said forum I'm sure you would find the answer,I have collected a long time but I'm no expert by any means.John

Went back to the antique shop and got these,a silver WB and packet marked 100 Wachtler & Lange. The wound badge packet for the gold is a puzzel,no one has seen it before, but as all the other items from this little hoard has checked out ok.The gold wound badge is marked 30 for Hauptmunzampt Wien, late war zinc no finish remains except the pin and slight traces on the edge of the swastika.
