Hello guys,
does anyone has the requirements to get the Schützenschnüre? We have training in shooting with Mauser 98k and I would like to try to get Schützenschnüre. I know there were a few models (12).
Do you have the list of disciplines (what distance, how many shoots, how much points etc.?).
Thanks Heini

Hi.In my book it states award grade 1-4 required only four of six rifle rounds be in the bullseye at each of the three ranges, while awards 9-12 required five of six hits in the bullseye.
Awards grade 1-4 was white alloy shield(1936-1938 a raised eagle on a shield)after 1938 an wreath, eagle and crossed swords over a shield. For grades 9-12 it was in gilt.Further awards were the addition of one,two or three acorns to the lanyard.John

Hi John. Thanks for your advice. What about the distance of shooting? How far should be the shooter from the target? Thanks Heini
