What I wanted to do was `show` that rather than say thats wrong thats right etc maybe a way of finding out the best we can is to ask/look at what it is and go from there with logical way of asking how do we know what it is being made and where the info is from ?
it was a cracking post keith, i think you have halted the tide and given everyone something to really think about, many of the points in the post were exactly in my mind regarding fabrics etc as i have worked in theatre and know a bit about colour, shade, quality of fabric oxidisation, water hardness etc and how it afects variation , shade.
it is always good to get good objective views as it always adds to the overall impression if you are trying to get it right, thats what we are all here for , support and help

Dink, did you remove the piping yourself?

There was a thread that had info on the thread and whether it should be there or not, but it's gone now.

I'm probably gonna order one of these for my wife, what do you guys recommend?

It seems a lot of people are looking for some good German Womens clothing both military and Civilian and I havent seen this link pop up yet.

www.soldatenwerk.com

They look like they do nice work. I just received an order from them today for my wife so I will give it a review of what she thinks when she gets home. I hope this helps.

If they have already been posted or discussed sorry please delete my post and ignore me for the foolish newby that I am.

Yes they are, not sure if I'm there, got a lot of stuff going on with the old garden shed ( band) over the summer but hope to make it and at least a day out at WAP. See you at one or the other, Tutbury for us at the weekend. Cheers
