A committed chap should have that up and running in no time
Seriously though pictures like this do make me wonder, basically there is nothing more than a seriously rusted tub there. To get that to a state where it could safely accommodate torsion bars and running gear would mean replacing at least two thirds of the existing metal work. What you would have left would be a tiny fraction of the original vehicle which to me makes a mockery of “restoration”. It would make more sense for the chap to keep the tub as it is for display, buy a repro tub from Vladimir Lehar and fit that out. The question for me is – what percentage of an original vehicle remains for it to be a restoration and not a reproduction?

any part of the original chassis or bulkhead I believe is the answer in the UK Andy. There was a 1920s-30s racing bentley that was subject to a court case in the early 90s that only had one original part (bulkhead) which was deemed to still be original
