A type not often seen , thank you John for posting it up, this size tends to both sought after and rather expensive. :)
Is there a markers name on the flag ?

A flag being grubby would not worry me in the slightest, the few holes must be tiny - this looks like a fine flag to have in a collection.
Because of the "displayibility" of this size the price of this flag to buy would be quite surprisingly high , its size and it being an early model would make it an expensive piece.
Fine flag, this size for ships of up to 500 tons . :)

Thought you might like to see it,no there are no makers marks.I got it in 1979 in fact I part exchanged a larger repro version and £10 from a friend who wanted the repro to put on his stall table.I also posted this on WAF and a guy in the US pm'ed me asking if it was for sale(its not). For me the condition is not to bad,I have a larger Reichs service flag with marine stamp and its well 'battle damaged',I posted pictures of my Spanish cross w/o swords which came with my destroyer badge it has some minor dings on WAF and one comment was "looks original, but not in very good condition"

I saw your small RK on W.Awards -= it has been very well received which is no real surprise - the Spanish cross for what you got it for a fine deal and well worth having today. :)

Please post up the large RK you mentioned , everyone has its own tale to tell - I must say I am a bit of a sucker for the larger ones the 150x250 being for me the best size - I have them up to 300x500 and must admit if a larger one came along I would jump at it , the very large ( if 300x500 was not large enough) are very hard to find.

At present I am buying some photos which came from the officers mess in Prinz Eugen four in total which were "liberated" when the ship was in Copenhagen .
