Thanks, Christian,
Is there a German technical term / "Fachausdruck" for those rubber boots? I suppose they were not officially called "Gummistiefel," were they.

Early Fielddivisions soldier and a late one he wear tan and water army camo jacket, Luftwaffe helmet and field cap. Maybe a Grenadier of the Hermann Göring divisions.

Some nice shots! Luftwaffe FD pictures are not easy to come across. Creating a FD picture photo album would be a good idea. This certainly is a good start. The best way to tune your kit is by looking at the period photos.

General der Fallschirmjäger Meindl. He was the first who set up Luftwaffe Ground troops in Russia, before the Luftwaffe Field Divisions were established. It could be said he was the inventor of the Luftwaffenfelddivision.
A Luftwaffefielddivision unit securing barricade Atlantikwall. Especially notable a MG15 is used, many LFD have them as substitute for MG34/MG42.
A 2cm Flak 38 use in Ground combat in France.
A heavy camoflaged car with "Luftraumbeobachter" looking for allied fighter bombers.
Some german pows. Possible of the 16th Luftwaffe Fielddivision. The division was fighting at Caen alongside with the 21st Panzer.
The Begining...
...the result!
