Kreta!
This past weekend, Jägers from II/GJR100 participated in a Kreta tactical event alongside some kameraden from the Fallschirmjäger. Numbers were low but the event was quality. Countryside was hilly, rocky, scrubby with low wadi areas- kind of like Kreta but not as hot and dry! Live opponents were 2/2nd Australian Infantry Bn and 28 NZ Maori Bn troops. Here are a couple of pics taken from the event;
