My 21C 1/6th Kettenkrad LOP

Post by pzrwest »

I got a super deal on a 21C Kettenkrad from Tim of Plasticpanzers. I thank Tim for his nice paintjob. I decided to do a little work on it. I removed the rear seat and re-worked it and hinged it so it tips to the rear like the original ones did. I also replaced the trailer ball hitch to a more realistic one. I plan on doing some more work on the kett as I go along. I also painted the rubber tires on the road wheels. Here are some pics of my new Unteroffizier checking out his new ride. Comments welcomed... Harold

I wish I had the funds to pick up a set of Panzerwerk's Kettenkrad track and running gear, but this will have to do for now maybe down the road. Here are a few pics of the detailing on the 21C engine, a Dragon engine would be much better but I'm happy with the way this one is turning out. Still needs to be painted and coolant hoses added, and exhaust pipe. I have left a long shaft to connect to the fan/rad assembly. As always comments are welcomed... Harold
