Hi guys this is my first post, I hope someone can help. I've bought Nestoff low boots and have been met with different opinions on what to do to prep a new pair of low boots for use.
1) From what I've seen I should soak the boots in water, then ware them barefoot until dry. Do I walk around in them or sit still with them on?
2) Apply Neatsfoot oil Compound to the sole and Ko-Cho-Line Leather Dressing to the upper, including the inside.
3) Then apply Sno-Seal to the upper to water-proof them.
As to their maintenance what should be done if the boots are just being kept in storage and after use.
Thanks guys.

I'm not familiar with Nestoff boots...were they cheap ? How robust are they ? Are the nails aluminium or steel ?
If they're cheap and badly made they'll fall to bits whatever you do to them.
