My wife knows how much stuff costs and knows the difference between what I "need" and what I "want"

I'm in the very lucky position of having a beutiful wife in the BDM, who keeps telling me it's perfectly ok to get more kit, motorbikes... kettenkrad.. :)

"What? Ooooh that....... it's been there ages - look, it's covered in dust!"

"You have! You said what's that about three months ago.... I've had it YEARS!"

"Shurrup! I just got it out of the loft..... I wondered where I'd put it"

"No it's not new dear" (thinks to self - It's about 63 years old!)

Hmm..I like this topic...already told the hubby he better not try any of these on me. :-) But since I am a reenactor I already know what most of the things cost from visits to vendors sites and things I've bought for him and such.. :-)

My wife doesn't like the fact that I can get stuff so easily :x . She did however, purchase my Zeltbahn for my B-day in December :D . She thought it was a sleeping bag. Hahahaha. I did explain to her what it was. Other than that, she doesn't say anything. And brother......... sometimes thats louder than words :? .

With me its books - mainly off ebay or from the U.S.

"It only cost me a couple of quid - Honest! And most of that was postage..."

"But with the dollar so weak it cost, like, 50p!"

The other half's a re-enactor too, so I can't sneak in new bits of kit. However, I managed not to say anything when she told me at Beltring she'd bought the tent that the two of us AND MY CAR were both camping in!
