LOL definatly not a friend, his is a manufacturer who is very hard to deal with. He is making them as M37 reed green officers tunic, will ask him his ref but doute he will reply, his sources are varied from actual examples , anecdotal ( father, veterns etc)and factual, dosent go on books alone. Also has some original machinery, all his button holes are done on a wartime piece.

If you want feedback from the re-enactors Ant/Missus H - I'd stick with stocking the M43 Schilfgrun Drillich Jacke with unpleated patch pockets all round.

I'd venture to say the one you have pictured is a fantasy item.
