I personally am not too much of a fan of the plastic ones...
would be interesting to hear from yourself why ? ( a different opinion)

if metal, then i would get a panther one with metal zippers over Gmax and SMW :)

Hi

Somehow I have difficulties associating those zippers with WWII! I know they are authentic, most of the sumpf smocks got them but somehow in my brain I have this picture of 60ties and 70ties children's winter parkas in all kind of funny colors with hoods...and they all had those RiRi plastic zippers
It's only my personal taste...I'm afraid

cheers
Uwe

ah, easier on the hands when stuffing ammo, rations etc in them. I'm a big fan too of stuffing my jumpsmock pockets full of whatever i need in the field, that's what they did back then. You can even get a juwel stove in them, as long as you don't hit the ground to hard

Hi Tom

I know what you mean but I think the quality of the zippers are the key here. I have a LB M40 with metal zippers, the teeth are not sharp at all and the pullers almost glide through them. Very high quality zippers those are, the also have a very solid feel to them. To bad LB does not have a correct grün meliert. How is their Splitter B by the way?

cheers
