Like I said alot of information been posted here is not correct , the best way is to contact the Department of Justice and they will then you exactly what to do . As for " registered dealers" this only applies to dealers in The Republic of Ireland who wish to sell to citizens in the State . UK dealers can sell to customers in The Republic of Ireland as long as the customers have got the proper paper work done , I should know as I have imported several .

It is you who is confused , the form I downloaded is the one that you must fill out if you wish to import a weapon from the UK , this is there for all to see on the Department of Justice website .

Sounds like a bunch of bureaucracy! Save yourself some headaches.. Come to America and apply for Obama Amnesty.. then you wouldn't need a "permit" for a "toy" (de-act). Just own the real thing.
