Re: Finnish uniforms
Oh, Bauer has already posted my photos of the jacket (I'm using also "Speidel" -nickname in other forums). Here is comparison of trousers!
On a left there's original M/36 trousers and right these repro-made.

I think we are all content that at least there appears to be a source of Finnish uniforms at a reasonable cost! Hopefully we can encourage him to make more kit (like a cap and maybe great coat!). His Russian kit started with only a few bits but he is doing much more now

Re: Finnish uniforms
Well our manufacturer is going to make hats etc. later this summer/autumn.
I guess Hiki will sell them as well?

Re: Finnish uniforms
Great news!
For the hats did you plan only the fieldcap or other things? (fur hat? Yes I'm probably dreaming...)
And straight trousers?
The Hiki stuff looks good, but can't wait to see the uniforms you designed.

Re: Finnish uniforms
He has indicated that he would do the m36 wool cap but this may take time. I can't see any Russian caps on his site yet
Re: Finnish uniforms
My initial pet project seems to have taken a life of its own. Gosh im proud to have achieved a long coveted dream of establishing a steady source of finnish kit items!
I hope you all get to enjoy the warmth of finnish (meh. chinese) wool.
Id like to extend my sincere gratitude towards bauer who practically saved the entire project and continued handling it when I was away. I might still keep my hand in just a little (still want those great coats) if varusteleka is interested in them and I got the time.

Re: Finnish uniforms
Hi! I'm new to this forum. I am in the process of orhganizing a small Finnish group in New England, USA. I contacted Wiking Divisioona Oy to purchase M36 Summer Tunics, but I have a problem. I don't speak or read Finnish. How can I contact them for sizes (I need a XXL , 50" chest)? Can anyone help? Any advice will be very much appreciated.

Re: Finnish uniforms
Just send them some e-mail at orders@wiking.fi They speak English And good luck for setting up your group!
Oh, and while you're at it, you might want to order the book Asepuku M/36. It also has text in English.

Milform may also supply m36 Summer tunics (130 Euros plus postage last year) - they should have caps in stock now but I am holding off for the Chinese to come up with their product.

Re: Finnish uniforms
Thank you very much. I'll EMail Wiking straight away. Do you have the Milform addresses, too? Might as well give them a shout, too.
Thanks, again. I know I'll be asking a lot of questions. I really do appreciate your help.

Those lion buttons are actually Dutch! You could collect them and sell them off in the Netherlands.
Cheers!
