Tiroler Skijager ???

I just got this little precious abzeichen. Dont know what it is apart from originating from Tirol - Tiroler Kaiserjager ? a ski jager unit ? police ? or simply civilian....

Would be grateful for some light shed on this one:

Looks fantastic though for a soldier transferred from Austrian Army in 1938/39 (as in my GJ identity):

I will rearrange them anyway

Mario, I've tried to find out about ski-jäger in the austrian army, but didn't success. I have a few photos of austrian GJ but none with this badge. I would say it's civilian: a tyroler adler and skies.
But it looks great on your Bergmütze!

Nice Austrian souvenir ski pin... probably from a ski resort. I use to collect pins like that at all the areas that I went to for skiing, hiking, and climbing. I have a Tyrollean cap that has about 5 kgs. worth of pins on it.

there Federal eagle's not Bundy eagles. They were in uses long before the Bundeswehr and After the war the went back to using this eagle.

Probably because original one costs a small fortune

I didn't ment the eagle, I ment the Edelweiß (you see on the left side). I asked, why you war a german bundy-edelweiß on your cape?

This is a reason why we worn BW one.
BW is similar to the original,differs is only stem.

I have the original one but I keep it in the display case
