hi im after some info
i need to research a bit about a young officer from the liebstandart ah
he ended his war in france with the Götz von Berlichingen sleeve band
his name is gerhart blasi
some of his medals include the close combat clasp
and either the iron cross or knights cross

also he has been wounded and has the black wound badge and also a drivers merit
and also the infantry assault not sure if silver or bronze

Ive had a look for your man Gerhart Blasi and gone
through the archives and ref books for all known RK
winners from both the LSSAH and Gotz von Berlichingen
Units but sadly no one of that name was a recipient of
the Knights Cross.???

Perhaps it was the EK 1 that was awarded, unfortunately
there is no known list that i can find probably because too
many Iron Cross 1st classes were awarded???

I will keep looking mate
