My 101st Airborne Figure Bash

Post by pzrwest »

A fellow 1/6'er was kind enough to send me a hoard of airborne items so I could bash my 1st nice airborne figure. I made him from the 101st Airborne unit. The insignia came from a 21C jacket. I carefully cut the insignia out then glued it to the new jacket along with the American flag patch.
Bash Items Are As Follows:
DML Rudi Messner HS(JP Hobbies)
DML Figure Body Light Color Plastic - 2004 Pattern(TSB)
DML 2004 Pattern Hands - Pistol Grip/Closed(TSB)
Jump Boots?
The following items are from BJ59(Paul)
DML M42 jump suit (from Soldat 2, scarce and the best there is)
DML M1 Carbine w/folding stock and leather strap
Battlegear Toys M1 Carbine jump scabard
DML M36 Musette Bag
RedPlanetToys woven cloth M26 Pistol Belt in OD #7; with DML combat suspenders
DML "pleather" holster, leather tie down, and .45 Cal Colt Auto
DML rigger's pouches (x2) from Dan Summers
DML Canteen w/ pouch
DML Folding Shovel with cloth pouch
DML .45 Cal magazine pouch
DML trench knife with scabard
DML GP Ammo bag (scarce!!)
DML Mapcase (Road to Victory version)
DID Abn Jump Helmet with chincup strap (metal helmet)
Thank god Paul had assembled the webgear as I would have gone crazy trying to figure out how it all goes together. Here are pics of the Airborne bash. As always comments welcomed..... Harold

I have since removed the flag patch as apparently the 101st didn't wear the flag patch. Might also remove his brown wool shirt so the collar will do up. With the shirt underneath the jacket it's a bit too bulky to close the jacket collar
