My SdKfz253 a WIP

Post by pzrwest »

I decided to back date my AH SdKfz250 to a 253. Here are a few pics of the halftrack with it's first coat of paint. Still a little ways to go. Comments welcomed as always.... Harold

Here are the latest pics almost done except weathering and a few odds and sods to finish. Rained here all day so had to take these indoors with the flash. If the weather co-operates tomorrow I will attempt to get some outdoor pics. I haven't applied any unit emblems just tactical markings. As always comments welcomed.... Harold

Here are a few pics of the halftrack with some weathering. As time goes on more weathering will be done as I learn how to weather things. As always comments are welcomed.... Harold

Harold one weathering tip run a pencil down the edge of a raised area this with practice will look like areas were the paint has worn away . but has regular contact so wont rust eg door edges steps and such . Other wise keep the good work coming

Stunning Harold keep um coming mate.

Here is the halftrack on the diorma my club did for the Toronto Modelers Show at Old Fort York this past weekend. The dio was 16' long and 10' deep at the one end
