Herr Feldposten!

You might have a good amount of business coming your way, sir. Have a lot of US Gebirgsjäger reenactors who would like to get boots made from you. I am looking to order some by early next year, will production be in full swing by then?

Cheers,
Aaron

New photos. I want to stress the quality is the TOP. I would like to add one review of my recent purchaser from the USA "I was thoroughly impressed. When we did a side by side comparison of your birgschuhe with original German issue boots there was practically no difference. I am very familiar with the German and Austrian produced mountain boots from the war. I must say yours is the closest I've seen thus far. Other than some subtle differences they are the same boot."
Unfortunately, I have a lack of nails (not the boots!!) now but hope to get a new stock of nails soon.

Is that canvas around the top of the boot? All the original boots I have handled have had uniform cloth strips, not canvas.

Other than that they look robust!

I've seen and handled a pair " in the flesh " , so to speak - yes it's canvas I'm afraid , other than that , these boots are of very good quality , nice thick leather uppers .

Thank you for your comments. They are made from an original prototype with the canvas top.

But the green part is not canvas on your original boots, it's just worn down, but not canvas.
