there are lits of decent armbands out there, ust go for the plain white and red cross without any letterng
as for vests , i even made mine, not seen any about

I had a chinese seller on ebay had them but not anymore.But keep checking ebay as they do pop up regulary.
Hikishop I think have them but alittle reluctant to get one from them as the red cross on the vest I think was alittle small
Ebay is your best bet

Look at some photos- there are some that show what truly appear to be home made/field made. If I can find them on my hard drive, I will post what I find

I made mine. The band is complete,just need to do the cross but haven't had the time..I've seen a lot of pics where field made appear to be the case.
