Hallo Kameraden

SS-Gebirgsjäger-Regiment 12 "Michael Gaißmair" re-enactment group is quitting as per May 2014.

Loss of many active members has led to the point where there is no point of running the unit.

We have had many great moments together and we have many good friends here on this community.
My warmest thanks to all, this has been a joy and a privilege.

That is really bad and also very sad

that's a shame, I always enjoyed the threads on the groups exploits in the tundra or mossie infested areas, I would have liked to join in on the snow ex's.....

Very sorry to hear that. Such groups take a lot of personal time, energy and money to shape them up and it is sad whenever this happens.

Sometimes a little bit of time off make the guys miss it and new interested parties come along when the least expect them.

Good luck for the future.

Hopefully there will be a new incarnation- the photos and events, and website were always top shelf.
