Hello, I have just joined the Forum and wish to introduce myself! I have been re-enacting German civilian for 8 years now, but have always bee interested in German WWII history. I am part of a small group of German civilians and attend as many events here and in Germany as possible during the year. I am currently at university doing a degree in German Language and Germanic Studies which I have chosen German WWII military history as my chosen subject. I collect militaria from the Waffen-SS, but also German books and clothing from the period.

My family are German and all live in Germany(my mum is German), my love of the Waffen-SS is from my favourite Uncle who is a veteran of the 'Deutschland' Regiment of 'Das Reich', I am lucky and honoured to count many Waffen-SS veterans as very good friends of my family, and through attending HIAG meetings over the years I have the advantage of their help on my current studies and help in my collecting.

I look forward to getting to know you all through the Forum, and here's to re-enacting!!
