The image of the wallet and stamp are lifted from Matt DiPalma's website (who, curiously will also recommence production in the new year) and I think some of the other paperwork is from his old site as well. I certainly recognise the images.

Cheers!

Thanks Feldjager, does this guy have his own web-site? Or do I just put his name in and his site comes up?

Thanks!

He does have - http://www.repropaperwork.com

He's not taking orders until the new year, however.

I think I have a repro kennkarte I made a few years ago somewhere - I'll have a look later. I've got a fair few civilian IDs of one sort or another.

I'm attempting, though haven't printed them yet, a few copies that will be blanks for filling in, using scans of female documents including the kennkarte, I hold in my collection, will hopefully print them in the new year when santa isn't taking all my pennies and I can get some ink for the printer and do some samples.

The biggest pain in the bum is the counterfeit prevention background on the inside of the document!

Well as said I've worked on an oil cloth one, however santa (royal mail eventually) brought me a non oil cloth one this weekend, that is on card. Its dated as being a form of 1938, but (sorry for slight hijack of this post) I'm wondering when the allownce for non oil cloth kennkartes was agreed upon ? (ie date would be nice) if anyone knows :?

I've blanked this one quite quickly as it required no erm psp adaption for getting the paper right (well past what it is to be printed on), but non the less its obviously a later war one (issue 1943), the right kind of card is easily accessible, however a guideline for usage of non oilcloth, kennkartes would be helfpul.

Thanks

Most military documents that should be on the oilcloth but are printed on card are usually post September 1943 in my experience. I'm not saying this is an ipso facto date, but I use it when reproducing my stuff.

The only other fly in the ointment is that the ID is a replacement and has, for some reason, been given an earlier issue date.

Sorry I don't think I made myself clear but you've answered well anyways  the Kennkarte is printed as form(it doesn't actually say form) A103, dated October 38. However that of course doesn't mean it was manufactured then, its just the relevant number for that document I guess.

It was issued to a woman in 1943, so that concurs with what you say 8) which was what I wanted to know anyways, I just didn't put the question across well and wanted to correct that I already knew it was late war issue and I wasn't questioning it being issued in 38, just the point where later on they were issued.

Thanks
