I need 2 new batteries with at least 105Ah and 680CCA. I have a few quotes from local commercial suppliers, but wondered if anyone knew of another cheaper source.

Heavy duty would be better, the current the starter motor pulls is high.

Unless you are looking for something in traditional black rubber or similar, any commercial or tyre supplier will be able to supply you with a price. 105 ah is not a particularly large battery.

If you are in a rural area the farmers suppliers are also quite good on prices.
I assume suppliers will no longer post batterys with acid in (?)so you are limited to your local suppliers.

I'm not bothered about appearance as they are concealed out of sight.

I have hunted round various agricultural and plant fitters - they are coming out more expensive than specialist suppliers!

Suppliers can ship lead acid batteries, but it has to be by specialist courier (about £17 per battery seems to be average).
