Nice. It's a post war one by the muzzle break, but you would pay megabucks for a wartime one. Have you got the ammo pouches yet?

Can't find the picture of the drum pouch, but a friend of mine has a couple. I'll see if he has a picture of them (otherwise, I think the Osprey Elite book has a couple of pictures of them). Here is a picture of the big stick mag bag: http://www.e-gunparts.com/DisplayAd.asp ... SKU=&MC=YJ . Less common, but still used.

Re: Soumi K31
The Most common way to carry the Suomi Drum magazines was on the belt by a small hook or even with wire .I know of one Veteran who carried 8 in this way
Look on the Motti raiders below
As with most things in the Finnish army they were in short supply and many things you see for sale are post war
Here we have the best type of Drum mag this has a bottle in side for your Koskenkorva

hi pirkka,Nice. It's a post war one by the muzzle break,
the muzzle break was added in 1942 making it the SJR (from the word "suujarru" - muzzle brake or compensator) version.
The stick mag is post war, if it's the 36round version introduced in 1954/55.

Re: Soumi K31
Extras could be carried in the gas mask bag. It's not as if there was a gas mask in there by late 1939 and they were used, if they were worn at all, for a bit of extra carry.
Re: Soumi K31
This photo of finnish soldiers somewhere north of Kivinebb in 1944 clearly shows the way of carry the drum by the belt.
