We have three books of 'Deutsche Soldaten' to give away in our subscription competition.

I have one and its a great for sourcing all items carried by the German Soldier from spectacles to cameras, uniforms to binoculars.

It's not you know - It's a coffee table book I'm afraid. Lovely pictures and a nice layout but it's mainly fluff. It has some inaccuracies and no definitive reference - And...... the private purchase wash/toilet/shoe clean kit is not nearly complete - whereas the one I own still has soap. blaes and some polish in it along with all the accoutrements it was sold with including comb.

Nice book but not enough depth to be used as a serious reference. Still a nice shelf filler.
