My wife is a member of Aachen Stadt I which is the DRK unit within the CHG. This past year they started putting together their DAK uniforms. Right now they are basically LW tropical feldblusen that are beting modified. An order has been placed with Chen of ANT-Z militaria to have skirts made.

Re: Women in the DAK
Our Muti, Lynn, of the U-Boat Society, recently made three DAK tropical uniforms for our female members. They wore them on our display at Beltring, Damyns Hall and Detling. Here are the results:-
The uniforms were worn with either the female tropical pith helmet or the standard DRK white nurse's cap with embroidered 'DRK' tape on the edge. What also isn't widely known is that the original uniforms had 'culottes' and not skirts. However, these were later discontinued as skirts were preferred in the warmer climes.

The gals of Aachen Stadt I have added more elements to their tropical uniforms. They're slowly but surely making changes to them. Here you can see belts and skirts added:

Re: Women in the DAK
Blimey, they are fantastic, where are they based, in the US?
Re: Women in the DAK
Yes. They are here in Southern California. If anyone is interested. Get a hold of Chen at ANT-Z militaria. He has the pattern for the skirts. Not sure if he's doing individual orders though. The girls were able to have them done since they had a group order.Schäfer wrote:Blimey, they are fantastic, where are they based, in the US?
