Re: SS Panzergrenadier Regiment 24 ”Danmark”
Most of the W-SS reenactors are from other groups.
The beer was from Germany, I took it with me to England.
This was not reenactment, it was reenactors having a good time after
the doors were closed........ that has been done for over 30 years!
Go to any beer tent at any major event, everyone is in uniform.
Go to any event in Belgium or Holland, it is the same.

It supposed to be ironic ? If so You should took proper beer mug instead of plastic or metal cans. The beer was from Germany, I took it with me to England.
So if someone for 30 years is walking in one shoe everyday, everyone else should too ? As Ive said earlier - its my opinion that its not proper and doesnt seems to look good for people not connected to reenactment movement. You got Your opinion, Ive got mine and lets end this discussion in mutual understanding atmosphereThis was not reenactment, it was reenactors having a good time after

Yuri - try to make a holiday to Beltring and take in the atmosphere. The hosts for the party were Normandy 44 - US Ranger Group. They too were in uniform and sang the songs! Inside their wartime dated mess tent they have a bar with modern chiller equipment and kegs of beer. This is friends socialising. You would be welcome and although In understand your initial shock and possible misgivings - You would have a good time and make many new friends.
Danmark are a fine group of fellows and they add to the show. During public hours, these guys fill a role and are extremely good. After public hours they let their hair down and become young Danes who like to party (No - not THAT Partie )

I was the one walking from left to right with the 5L beer under my armRudyWerner wrote:That video was not made bay a Dane, it was made by a swede whos name I refuse to mention.
In the video, you can see me refusing alcohol, just to prove not everyone goes in for boozing!
Regardless of the alcohol, it was a great time and everyone was friendly, that was what was important.
Cheers, Bill.
