At it again!

So flushed with success from our course in April, we all went to Normandy last week to do a comemorative jump at the Sannerville DZ near to Pegasus Bridge. This we achieved in 15 knott winds gusting to 25 and from 900ft and we are all still in one piece!

looks like its going to bethe reenactors job to help keep the memories alive with the jumps ...as there is less and less vets to jump now

Veterans dont jump (Unless its a tandem) its only the modern paratroopers but because of operational deployments the Army has no budget for these things, i am sure next year will be a big one but that really could be the last one

So it will only be groups like Pathfinder doing this in the future

i think last year the last tandems where done in holland........

i missed out last year when tom gow went over for the training as i had booked russia ....missus could stand me away twice lol
